In the David-Sidney:Rideout: Sovereignty workshop, he explains that the left side of a sheet of paper (also being a vessel ) is the debit side, with the right side being the credit side.
It appears that a court is divided up in the same way with the defence being on the left side and the prosecution on the right side of the vessel.
