You hear crazy figures of the forcourt making about 2p on a litre.
I would like to know this when I start billing the Treasury.

OK answered my own question
If a litre of unleaded petrol costs 93p, 54.19p goes on fuel duty, 20.98p is the cost of the fuel, 12.13p covers the VAT and 5.71p goes to the retailer and on delivery, according to petrolprices.com.
