An experiment by the road traffic police into the use of very high speed pursuit vehicles to catch the growing numbers of dangerous criminals suspected of reaching for a fruit pastel whilst driving has been declared a failure.
A senior Police official has made the following statement:
"Whilst the officers were able to catch up with and stop the villains extremely quickly, we found that, (due to the neccessity of surgically removing the officers' legs from the knee down -in order for them to be able to fit into these low-roofed cars) when they attempted to exit the car to effect an arrest they simply 'fell over'
We are now in talks with Monsanto to see if it would be possible to breed especially short officers that could operate these vehicles more effectively"
"Come to the edge, he said. They said: We are afraid. Come to the edge, he said. They came. He pushed them and they flew.” (G.Apollinaire)
I do not offer legal advice, I offer common sense suggestions based on shared knowledge.
