Traffic Warden Olympics

Postby Free » Wed May 27, 2009 9:54 am

Whilst withdrawing some promissory notes from the hole in the wall two weeks ago a traffic sniper appeared as if by magic and began writing out her PCN. As I turned and spotted her I immediately informed her that it might be a good idea she stepped back from my car as I would be driving it away now. She looked at me and said "you'll need to wait for your ticket sir". I calmly said, "Actually no I wont as I'm not obliged and you have no authority by which to cause me delay in my movements". I got into the car and carefully drove off while she fumbled with the pages on the ticket book. A clean getaway I thought but then..to the hilarious amazement of both my passenger and my self here she is gallantly running allongside my car attempting to 'issue' the ticket to a moving vehicle! I'm sure the street cameras will have seen one of their employees risking her own safety in the line of 'duty' and hopefully by now will have educated her that its not a good idea to adopt this kind of dangerous behaviour.

It might be an idea for wardens to gain some vehicle knowledge too as some cars only have one wiper like mine which explains the reason she spent so long running alongside the car trying to tuck the PCN under the wiper that isnt there....!

Two weeks on and I'm pleasantly surprised to see that a letter hasnt arrived from the local collections office. Looks like that one didnt stick.

If only this had been caught on Video Camera! How fucking STUPID can these people be!!!

(Yes mine only has one wiper ... as you know ... and parks on the passenger side. And there are things called Windscreen Washers ...we should not forget the armoury we possess. Just imagine what would have happened if you had decided to wash your window!!!)

(Reminds me of the scene in John Cleese's "Clockwise")

One of these daft buggers will die in action one day.
They're so desperate to issue the bloody things.
They get bonuses for issuing lots of 'em, and probably get sacked for not hitting a quota.

I almost feel sorry for them.

They said "The world may end in 2012''
They said " The NWO has a depopulation agenda"
I said "Pigs may fly"

She'd have been quite cool if he'd turned on his washers.

delicious irony if you'd got snapped by a road camera with her running along side....who would they issue the ticket to.

can a traffic warden run and put a ticket under a moving wiper blade....that sounds so much more difficult than patting your head and rubbing your tum

funny post, well done.

Lol, I see the same two traffic wardens every morning, my window is routinely lowered and the word " WANKERS!" is heard from my mouth, at first they used to raise their heads, which amused me greatly as they seemed to know their names! Now they scurry along. What a bunch of low life shit heads these people are.
