Absolutely!

The only thing they don't mention is "Free Energy" (Google it)
Freedom's just another word for: "Nothing left to lose" (Janis Joplin)
"There is no path to peace, peace IS the path" (Mahatma Ghandi)

Bang on V!
The list includes such a great mind that has been surpressed and he was a noted humaniterian called Nikola Tesla. The powers that be also surpress inventors like Bruce DePalma, Stan Myers, and notable scientists like Tom Bearden and M. Evans of Aberystwyth University.

Oh, for anyone new to this subject I will say this, who screwed up Tesla? Well one of them was called J.P. Morgan. Nuff said.

Poor quality video but hopefully will peak your interest to look deeper down the rabbit hole.

Oh yes. I thought that when they paraded the list of wankers such as Fleming & Einstein, etc. Yes ... they missed out THE MAN who invented EVERYTHING worth inventing. Tesla had one fault. His head was filled with inventions, and he thought everyone was as decent as he was. (The same problem the Native American Indians had).

Who invented radio? Marconi? Errr ... no. See here ... March 20th, 1900.

Greetings all!
I humbly seek clarification on this venus project - the first half of the film very accurately describes current society - absolutely brilliant - he also predicts that we will be obsolete because all "work" will be taken over by machines -my thoughts on this are ONLY IF WE ALLOW IT - the second half of the film advocates human beings handing over decision making process - control over our lives to machines - because they don't get tired and can perform the same task over and over again with out getting bored.
TO BE CLEAR FOLKS - ARE YOU WHO HAVE POSTED ON THIS THREAD - ADVOCATING THIS ? I like houses made out of "stuck together bricks" his words AND I DO NOT WANT TO LIVE IN A PREFAB MONOCOCQ MADE OF EXTRUDED .... MATERIALS as he is advocating .... I like hand made cars, I like hand made houses actually I like the things that HUMANBEINGS MAKE WITH LOVE .... hydroponic foods have high chemical content, are tasteless, vitaminless and toxic ..... why would anyone advocate this future .... it's horrific! and try getting control over your lives from Machines - it's hard enough now dealing with computer generated society ! To me this is the most nightmarish scenario I have yet to listen too. Clarification please.

I heard a good quote this very afternoon...

"Why should I have to pay, to live on the planet on which I was born?"

Quite apt, I thought....

Generally speaking the answer can be found in the question:

(why should) I have to pay

This leaves us a choice..to pay or not to pay..

The solution is to remove money from the system and operate under a resource based economy, which forms the basis of the Venus Project.

I agree. I love our current architecture even if it is just bricks stuck together

So a compromise could be an idea. Keep what we like and change what we dont. But above all else remove 'money' and those who seek to control us with it.

Freedom means free, with no price tag attached.

Right, as a man of logic/reason (so i like to think lol :saint: ) Time is the key here we live with limited matereals ,and to waist them limits future use(cars designed for only 10 year an not 100% recicleable ect). We (cough, splutter the govenment i mean) are allready fighting over oil via one blag or an other  .
We should care for the future of all, not the now of the self  (hand built cars indeed :rotfl: ,what no robots)
The Venus project is the only sencible solution i have come across.Yes it seems like a NWO and i guess it is,But the diffrence is massive as to the (elite)political idear/plan of controle/enslave of the masses.Jacque fresco hits every nail bang on the head, ovcorse practical idears need ironing out, nuthing is perfect at first.
The activision side or the Zeitgeist movement plays its part in rasing public awearness to the mass madness we find our sells in.The VP offers common sence answers.Changing the world is'not a small step ,and i have no time to go through it all you must research, research, research.
J Fresco is self educated and thus has no academic qualifications, which is one reason (for me at least) why he's not taken serious enuff.
As to what we need to know on energy heres a good look at where mankind is heading right now.
(power of a star on earth i here you say, is it safe?? :sun: who knows):-

The problem I have with all this is that it is just communism under a different skin. I can remember 30 years ago socialists talking about the waste of the capitalistic society where many cars are designed and produced when really all you needed was one. Well, the Soviet Union and the eastern black countries showed what you would have when you just have one or two models designed for you on a take it or leave it basis. The same could be said for India with the couple of models they had. They were all crap. I'm not interested in fairy tales about the way it could be, because that is what it never will be. You can already get an idea of how wonderful this future vision will be by looking at the way the buses are designed. Why are there bucket seats that are impossible to sit comfortable in and are only made for midgets. How about leg room etc. They are a complete disgrace. And then the wonderful road humps that they have to drive over. I just love the pain I get in my back each time the bus goes over one. One thing I can guarantee everyone, what you think you will be getting is fantasy and will always remain so.
If you're scared of 'them' poisoning 'us' with some shit then maybe you haven't noticed the shit they are already poisoning us with.
