Nicely done, simon. Very nice.

I tried the same, or similar thing, on their UKPoliceOnline website a couple of years ago. I explained in excruciating detail - more than two thousand words - and then took them through the lien process they might expect to be put through on a claim against them as though I were teaching a class. The vast majority of responses were hostile. The few that were reasonable were soon attacked. No obvious good results came of it.

We are a couple of years further on, though, and much and many bad things have come to pass - against them as well. It may be that it was the right place and the right people but not the right time. Perhaps now is the right time. We are seeing some better policing at some evictions now, with bailiffs being advised to walk away. Maybe we have reached the Right Time Right Place Right People* position. Hope so.

Anyway, good effort, Si, and we'll all wish it well.

*All human endeavours require three things to succeed. If any one of these three is absent then failure is a certainty.
These three things are; right time, right place, right people.
