This is an excellent site for building home made wind turbines that ACTUALLY produce the goods....not like the 1kW thing they tried selling in B&Q.

There is actually a few designs that apparently pull electricity from the radio/microwave energies natrually occuring in the earths atmosphere via an antenna. Im aware that I have always been told (If there was ever a site about questioning everything you told, this has to be it) the amount of electricity from such a device is small. Ive watched a video of one of these putting out about between about 3 ~ 5 volts with good equipment, didnt mention amps unfortunatley. Even if the amount of watts from one device is small I dont think the device has to be particularly large to function, or neither will putting multiple devices in close proximity would cause diminishing returns, so perhaps we should try putting a few of these in a rack and seeing what happens.
