policyman in school

2 days ago my 14yr old daughter came home and told us They had a policyman visit their school ! Straight away she said "He was very strict " , then went on to tell us he was explaining what the policymen do when they catch you taking drugs ,or are suspected of commiting a crime etc..He then gave them a run down of what to expect once arrested and back at the station..He said they would be processed then taken to another room ( As he was saying this ,he had placed a pair of rubber gloves on) .He then said "NOW COMES MY FAVOURITE BIT,THE STRIP SEARCH" !!! It just made me think back to when we were at school and had the visit,,but he was warm and friendly and did not say anything about arresting us or WHEN we get caught and what will happen..How things have changed ,,your kids are all guilty unless they can prove otherwise !!!! Just wondered if anyone had similar experiances or if there were any thoughts on this ,what seems to me like conditioning the young of what is coming ???

I heard rumours once that the Plod would hold up a packet of cigarette papers with a square piece torn out and ask: "Do any of your parents rip the packet like this?"

Talk about 'fishing expedition' !
We are the people our parents told us NOT TO PLAY WITH

Many years ago whilst my son was at primary school, they had a visit from the police and this one came with his doggy and all the kids got to stroke the nice doggy and it would even go over and sit next to a child whilst the police man spoke to the class. A teacher was also present and she would write things down.

I wonder what that was all about eh.
