Bill Gates tries to install an upgrade to Windows 8 (unsuccessfully).

He once said "There's nothing like a nice piece of code!" ... meaning that, when you've created some application, that works well, you can sit back, like an artist, and admire your own work. (A 'nice piece of code' is actually very close to an Art Form ... in many ways ... as with all engineering ... when it's done properly)

It think that's the only point of agreement between myself and Bill Gates, because Windows is, indeed, NOTHING (nothing whatsoever) like a 'nice piece of code'.

It is, and always was, a load of utter CRAP.
