For the second time (in a few weeks) I got this exact same e-mail:

I am emailing on behalf of

We have been reviewing our website and have become aware of a drop in our rankings for certain terms. When in conversation with Google via webmaster tools they highlighted our link at as being one that they consider potentially unnatural.

Can I therefore ask how we can get that link removed please?

I think that if Google consider this link potentially unnatural that removing it will benefit both our site and yours so I am keen to work with you to get it removed.

Please let me know if that is possible and what we need to do to get it removed.

Thanks in advance,

Marie Davis
I think they are probably talking about the last Posting, at the bottom of the page:
... which actually names them in a link.

So this Posting (made by one of the original Moderators, HuntingRoss) is 'unnatural' ... according to no less an "authority" than Google!!!!

Well, unfortunately (for Co-Op Insurance & Google), there's such a thing as "Freedom of Speech" ... so HuntingRoss' Posting stays.

So it looks like there will (eventually) be a ding-dong between myself & Co-Op Insurance ... who seem to be blaming me/FMOTL for "a drop in their rankings".

You just could not make this stuff up.

The "drop in their rankings" could not possibly be due to anything they (themselves) do, of course!

You really couldn't make it up.

Anyway ... what are they gonna do ... sue me? Good luck! Good luck trying to show that Google's dictats & so-called "guidelines" have some standing in English Law! (Stand by for a Solicitor's letter, Veronica!).

More likely is that Google will ban FMOTL from it's Search List.

Fuck off, then Google.

Stuff your 'unnatural' dictates up your collective ARSEHOLE.

You really couldn't make it up.
