Subject: Maybe time for Thinking Heads?

Following on from my recent “Thought Exercise” about a “Party of NO taxation” … a few people thought I was suggesting starting a Political Party.

I wasn’t suggesting that. I thought I made it clear that I was simply ‘creating an example’.

I got a few suggestions back, telling me (fundamentally) what we already know, which is that it would be an uphill struggle to get one going (i.e. “Where do you find £250 * 650 to pay Candidates Standing Fees?”)

But I wasn’t suggesting we did that, anyway.

However, along similar lines, I think there IS something we could do. Which is to prepare to bombard ‘potential voters’ with the reasons why “they shouldn’t vote”, and “why it is always going to be a complete waste of time” (as if they didn’t know that already!).

But … the thought is .. LET’S GIVE THEM ALL THE REASONS … laid out as simply as possible.

I asked Theo, since he’s a Public Relations expert … and his reaction was “Leaflets are Stone Age … do a video and put it on the web!”.

And, of course, these things can go viral if one does it right.

The problem is … I’m not the best one to ‘make a video’. I can work out what to say, but I’m not (necessarily) the best one to say it.

Anyway … with a General Election in the offing … at some point in the not-too-distant future … I think it’s time for Thinking Heads to go on, and to see what we can come up with.

I certainly intend to make a start.

Let’s see if we can bring the turnout down … even further than it will be already.

After all … it’s no more than they thoroughly deserve … is it?
