Apparently the UK Column published this about 4 days ago:

Ben Fellows Update

Yesterday evening, Louise Collins received a telephone call from Julia Fellows to say she has received an email from Ben to say he is safe and will be in direct contact soon. Ben's whereabouts are still unknown, but this is good news.

Earlier the same day, Julia had reported Ben missing and spent four hours being interviewed by police.

This is all we know about the situation at the moment. We would like to thank everyone who expressed their concern and support. We would also like to thank the police personnel who also expressed their concern and support, and their confirmation that Ben had been very brave in publicly exposing the matters he did.

I know that some people had doubts about Ben's disappearance and suggested it was a publicity stunt, but the facts are that Ben and his wife were subjected to threats including death threats, and Ben took the action he did to protect himself and his family.

So ... anyone who decided to hold their breath ... can start breathing immediately.

FWIW, BTW: Ben was the one who was assaulted (as a boy) by Ken Clarke. Upon reporting it to the Policymen ... and being told by them "Ken Clarke is above the law" ... he went into hiding.

But ... do you know what I find curious?

(Although, of course, it may just be regular UK Column MIS-reporting, I suppose)

Well, it's this:
... but the facts are that Ben and his wife were subjected to threats including death threats, and Ben took the action he did to protect himself and his family.

See the above UK Column announcement.

Now, it says: "... Ben and his wife were subjected to threats including death threats ...".

So ... IF HIS WIFE JULIA WAS ALSO SUBJECT TO DEATH THREATS (as that implies, or actually states) ... why didn't Julia go into hiding as well?

Or, are the UK Column just (as usual) cranking up the "toxic fear porn" ... by implying that Julia received death threats? After all ... that's FAR MORE SENSATIONAL ... than just saying Ben received the death threats ... isn't it?

You see ... it's DOUBLE-THINK. If the whole thing was serious ... then Ben's WHOLE FAMILY would have been at risk. The WHOLE FAMILY would have needed to "go into hiding", n'est-ce pas?

Or ... don't any of these people understand what they are playing with?

ONE OF THE ****BIG**** RULES IS: ***THEY DON'T GO FOR YOU***

***THEY GO FOR YOUR FAMILY***

That way ... NO MATTER HOW BRAVE ***YOU*** ARE ... THEY'VE "GOT" YOU.

That's how "They" work.
